Well I have successfully finished my first play. We rehearsed for six weeks in the basement of a furniture store. On Monday we were on the actual set for the first time, we had our first audience on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday I had two shows each and today was my last show. I am so tired! And I am so happy it’s over and I am so sad that it’s over. I had a lot of fun, I met a lot of really talented and fun people and I was able to do something I’ve always dreamed of doing. I am looking forward to a nice long breather and I’m glad I am going to have more time to concentrate on more important things. I should be getting some pictures the next day or so. I had a lot of really good feedback about my performance. I hope they weren’t just blowing smoke. Our cast party is on Friday, so I’m glad I’m going to get to see them all again. Hopefully I’ll get to work some more with them in the future. Ken especially (the director) was so wonderful to work with. I can’t imagine any one else casting a newbie for such a big roll AND letting her bring her baby to all of the rehearsals! Who does that?
Spencer started scooting today. It’s so cute! But the poor boy pushes whatever he is trying to get away from him whenever it is within arm’s reach. It’s so funny! My first baby to crawl before he sits.
